The Brief of this project was to design and create a 1:1 design prototype aimed at testing and demonstrating your understanding of structural integrity through modelling.
We were to design a ‘Cellular Structure’ wall design for an exhibition that could fit together without the help of additional structural support. We had to research the construction method that would be used to create the 1:1 prototype using the material of your choice.
I Looked into the shape and structure of fish scales to design and create this Cellular Structure prototype. Cellular Structures are somewhat of a design theme that run through many of my designs, so i found a strong connection and interest in the design of this wall.
